About me
"People ignore design that ignores people.”
— Frank Chimero
Creativity flow
I recently discovered a passion for painting with acrylics. I signed up for a six week course and have since then picked up the brush to keep my creativity flowing. It is also an outlet to relax and recharge.
My perspectives
I’m always curious to learn new ways how I can grow as an UX Designer. My curiosity and interest within this field has always been a part of me. I have a constant need to question design in my everyday life, like why my travel planning app makes it so hard for me to find my recently searched travels. That triggers a design process in my head where I try to find solutions that would improve the design.
Projects on my spare time
I’m currently on the board of our housing association which encompasses over 60 apartments. This role entails monthly meetings where we discuss matters that are important and beneficial for the apartment owners.
A website for a silver jewelry designer. I took the lead in designing and creating a website together with the stakeholder. I created a web shop using Wix as a web development tool. The design goal was to make a website where the customers had an easy overview of the products for sale.
A website for an ice cream café. I was in charge of designing and creating a website together with the stakeholder and owner of the café. The goal was to make a website where the customers could find information about the café and the different products for sale at the venue. The website attracted a lot of visitors during the summer season.
A work sample made in Photoshop with the ambition to provide a new functional and luxurious website for a hunting magazine. This work sample taught me a lot on how to work with a tight deadline and also the importance of doing research within the field that you are designing for.
